Games console to be won in charity fundraising draw for Acorns

Donations sought before end of June to help Acorns Children's Hospice

A games console is up for grabs in a Daniel-Scott Recruitment charity prize draw to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.


A minimum donation of just £5 is needed to enter the draw to win an Xbox Series S in the latest effort by the leading recruitment specialists to support Acorns.


Billed as the “smallest, sleekest Xbox console ever”, the Xbox Series S is designed to allow gamers to go “all-digital and enjoy disc-free, next-gen gaming”.


Normally retailing upwards of £240, the bundle includes the Xbox Series S console, an Xbox Wireless Controller, a high-speed HDMI cable and a power cable.


Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for children and young people with life limiting and life-threatening conditions across three specialist centres in the West Midlands. It also provides support for their families.


The team at Halesowen-based Daniel-Scott Recruitment are raising money throughout 2023 as a corporate fundraiser for Acorns. The leading recruitment specialists have designated the charity as their 2023 fundraising good cause, providing a range of support.


Director Lucy Cashmore said: “We are delighted to offer the Xbox Series S in this charity prize draw for Acorns Children’s Hospice as part of our 12-month effort to raise money for their incredible work in the West Midlands.

Donations for the prize draw must be made before 11:59pm on 30th June 2023. Each donation must be a minimum of £5 and have a full name visible on the donation. Anonymous donations cannot be entered into the prize draw but donation will still be made to Acorns.
